40-year-old arrested on suspicion of plotting Thursday attack on Texas Capitol

Benny Caldera Jr., 40, was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of plotting a violent attack Thursday on the Texas State Capitol in Austin. Texas DPS says it acted on credible information received Tuesday evening. Caldera was jailed on $75,000 bond and could face a felony terroristic threat charge against a public servant. An arrest is not a conviction.
