Arrest Made in Alleged Thursday Plot on Texas Capitol

Benny Caldera Jr., 40, was arrested early Wednesday over an alleged violent attack planned Thursday on the Texas State Capitol in Austin. Texas DPS, the state police, says it acted on credible information from Tuesday evening. He is held on $75,000 bond and could face a felony, serious-crime, charge for threatening a public servant. Arrest is not conviction.
