McClay rejects claim NZ breached EU deal climate obligations

Trade Minister Todd McClay has rejected a Dutch group's complaint that New Zealand breached climate commitments in its EU free-trade deal. He told a Waikato rural debate New Zealand is within its obligations and will achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The Both ENDS complaint was lodged with the European Commission on 29 September.
