McClay rejects claim NZ broke climate terms of EU trade deal

Trade Minister Todd McClay has rejected a complaint from Dutch group Both ENDS that New Zealand broke climate promises in its free-trade deal with the European Union. He told a rural debate in Waikato New Zealand is meeting its obligations and will reach net-zero emissions by 2050. The complaint went to the European Commission on 29 September.
