Ujjain Muslims Dismantle Part of Shahi Mosque for 2028 Pilgrimage Road

Muslim volunteers in Ujjain began partially dismantling the Shahi Mosque in Chhatri Chowk to comply with a road-widening order for the 2028 Simhastha Kumbh Mela, a Hindu pilgrimage held every 12 years. Negotiations cut the required setback to three feet from over seven feet after a court rejected a plea to halt the work.
