SteelSeries Rival Pro and Sensei Pro use ultra-wideband instead of 2.4GHz

SteelSeries introduced the $179 Rival Pro and Sensei Pro wireless gaming mice, which communicate with their base station via ultra-wideband between 6.4GHz and 9.056GHz instead of 2.4GHz. SteelSeries says the UWB connection provides 20 times the bandwidth and lower latency. The mice are available to preorder and ship on October 13.
