Government says confidence improved on staying within emissions budgets

The Government says it has improved confidence it can stay within its greenhouse gas budgets, in its formal response to the Climate Change Commission. The Commission warned in July that all climate targets were at risk and time to get back on track was running out. The ministry said policy decisions since 31 March lifted delivery confidence.
