82 arrested at pro-Palestine protest outside Labour conference in Liverpool

Merseyside Police arrested 82 people on suspicion of supporting a proscribed organisation outside Labour's conference in Liverpool on Sunday. A further 79 were reported for summons. Organised by Defend Our Juries, protesters held banners backing banned Palestine Action. Police estimated 180 attended and said mere presence was not an offence. Those arrested were bailed.
