82 arrested at Labour conference protest over banned Palestine Action

Merseyside Police arrested 82 people outside Labour’s conference in Liverpool on Sunday for suspected support of Palestine Action, a banned group. Organised by Defend Our Juries, about 180 people held supportive banners. Another 79 will face court papers. Police said just being there was not a crime. Those arrested were released on bail.
