Tillis says Trump made 'colossal mistake' backing Paxton over Cornyn

Sen. Thom Tillis said on CNN Sept. 27 that President Trump 'made a colossal mistake' backing Ken Paxton over Sen. John Cornyn in the Texas GOP primary. He called it an 'unforced error' that put the seat at risk, saying Republicans would not be spending 'tens or hundreds of millions of dollars in Texas if Cornyn had won.'
