Tillis Says Trump's Paxton Endorsement Over Cornyn Risks Texas Seat

Sen. Thom Tillis said on CNN Sept. 27 that President Trump made a 'colossal mistake' backing Ken Paxton over Sen. John Cornyn in the Texas GOP primary. He called it an 'unforced error' that put the seat at risk, saying Republicans would not be spending 'tens or hundreds of millions' in Texas if Cornyn had won.
