ACT pledges $2m for 20 noise cameras in Tāmaki

ACT has pledged $2 million for 20 relocatable noise cameras to target noisy vehicles, starting in Tāmaki. The party announced the policy on 25 September, according to RNZ, pitching it as a crackdown on boy racers. Candidate James Christmas said enforcement currently depends on police being in the right place.
