Government rules out stand-alone Māori health authority

Associate Health Minister Matt Doocey says the Government has no intention to revisit a stand-alone Māori health authority, despite a Waitangi Tribunal recommendation. He said the Government is progressing Māori health through Whiria Te Ora, the Māori Health Strategy, prioritising better access, stronger services and improved outcomes.
