Danny Tommo denies criminal damage over slashed Channel dinghy

Daniel Thomas, 37, known as Danny Tommo, denied criminal damage at Basingstoke magistrates' court after video appeared to show him slashing an inflatable dinghy in the English Channel. Prosecutors allege an emergency responder was aboard the adrift boat. Thomas was refused bail and will appear at Portsmouth crown court on 29 September.
