Infantino supports extra funding but stops short of $10m demand

FIFA president Gianni Infantino says he supports extra funding for all 211 member associations. In a 28 September letter to the six confederation presidents, he backed the greatest level that can responsibly be delivered, without committing to the $10m per nation demanded by UEFA, Concacaf and AFC chiefs. The council will consider the proposals on 15 October.
