Police rejected IPCA calls to charge staff in 13 cases

Police laid no charge against staff in 13 cases where the Independent Police Conduct Authority recommended charges in the past three years, according to papers reported by RNZ. The papers show police carried out 272 criminal investigations of staff in that period, with charges in 86. The papers put disagreements between police and the IPCA at 17 charging decisions.
