Abbas accuses Israel of 'genocidal war' in Gaza at UN

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas accused Israel of waging a 'genocidal war' in Gaza and said 'ethnic cleansing' threatens the 'very existence' of Palestinians. In a prerecorded Sept. 24 address to the UN General Assembly from Ramallah, broadcast after the U.S. denied Palestinian visas, he warned Israeli policies threaten Palestinians' "very life and existence".
