Palestinian Leader Criticizes Israel in UN Speech

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Israel is waging a 'genocidal war' in Gaza and 'ethnic cleansing' — forcing people from their homes — threatening Palestinians' very survival. He spoke Sept. 24 in a recorded video to world leaders at the United Nations, sent from Ramallah after the U.S. refused travel permits for his team.
