New Zealand First would abolish Waitangi Tribunal in first 100 days

New Zealand First says it would abolish the Waitangi Tribunal, RNZ reported. The Tribunal hears Māori claims under the Treaty of Waitangi. The party says it would bring in a law in the first 100 days after the election to scrap it and set up a 'Treaty of Waitangi Completion Commission'.
