Parents face 814-hour yearly care gap, Dent tells Press Club

The Parenthood chief executive Georgie Dent told the National Press Club on 23 September that Australian parents must find at least 814 hours of care a year. Kids get 12 weeks of school holidays. Full-time workers get four weeks of leave. Even split between two parents, she said, the gap remains. Couples can't roster their way out of it.
