The 814-hour care gap parents can't roster around

Georgie Dent, chief executive of advocacy group The Parenthood, told the National Press Club on 23 September Australian parents face at least 814 hours of care a year to cover. School holidays run 12 weeks. Full-time leave is four weeks. Even split between two parents, she said, couples can't roster their way out of it.
