UK Brings First Charge Over 1994 Rwandan Genocide

Vincent Brown, 65, a doctor formerly known as Vincent Bajinya, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 22 September 2026. Prosecutors allege he ordered six killings in Kigali in April 1994. He is the first person charged in Britain over the Rwandan genocide and did not enter a plea.
