MapQuest overtakes Google Maps in App Store after refusing to rename Lake Ontario

MapQuest gained hundreds of thousands of users over the weekend and surpassed Google Maps for the No. 1 spot in Apple's App Store after publicly refusing to relabel Lake Ontario as "Lake America." The defiance followed President Trump's August 27 executive order. Google, by contrast, began rolling out the name change on its maps.
