Chad le Clos heads to his fifth Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2026 with 18 medals — the joint most of any male athlete in the event's history. One more and the record is his alone. The 34-year-old South African's rivals are aged 19 to 24. He won his first Commonwealth gold in 2010, when they were three or four years old.
