Klopp appointed Germany head coach on four-year deal

Jürgen Klopp is back in management. The DFB has handed him a four-year contract to lead Germany through Euro 2028 and the 2030 World Cup, his first job since leaving Liverpool in 2024 citing exhaustion. DFB president Bernd Neuendorf called him the "unequivocal choice" after Julian Nagelsmann resigned following a World Cup penalty defeat by Paraguay. Klopp's first match is against the Netherlands on 24 September.
