Klopp appointed Germany head coach through 2030 World Cup

Jürgen Klopp is the new head coach of Germany, the DFB confirmed in Frankfurt on July 24. His contract runs through the 2030 World Cup in Morocco, Portugal and Spain. Klopp replaces Julian Nagelsmann, who left after Germany's last-32 exit to Paraguay — a third straight World Cup without reaching the round of 16. Klopp said he feels "recharged" since leaving Liverpool in 2024.
