Brown calls out Crows coach after Quaynor booing: 'Silence is deafening'
Adelaide fans booed Collingwood's Isaac Quaynor — the same player targeted by a homophobic slur from Crow Izak Rankine last season. Former player Mitch Brown, the first former AFL player to come out as bisexual, told ABC Melbourne that coach Matthew Nicks failed to condemn the booing with conviction: "When you don't call something out with conviction, silence is deafening." Brown called on leaders to say: "We are part of a problem."
