AMD Launches Helios, Its First Rack-Scale AI System, With OpenAI, Meta, Microsoft, Anthropic, and Oracle On Board

AMD launched Helios, its first rack-scale AI system, at its Advancing AI conference on July 23, 2026. OpenAI, Meta, Oracle, Anthropic, and Microsoft have committed to deploying it, with shipments starting late Q3 2026. Helios pairs 72 MI450 Series GPUs with EPYC CPUs and Pensando networking, built on Meta's OCP rack design.
