AMD Launches Helios AI Rack With OpenAI, Meta, Microsoft, Anthropic, and Oracle as Deploying Customers

AMD formally launched Helios, its first rack-scale AI system, at the Advancing AI conference in San Francisco on July 23, 2026. OpenAI, Meta, Oracle, Anthropic, and Microsoft have all committed to deploying it. Shipments are slated to begin at the end of Q3 2026. Helios pairs 72 MI450 Series GPUs with EPYC CPUs and Pensando networking, built on Meta's OCP rack design.
