Judge weighs striking out 95% of rugby brain injury claims after solicitor's disclosure failure
Senior Master Cook is considering whether to strike out up to 95% of 561 former rugby players' brain injury claims against World Rugby, the RFU, WRU, RFL and BARLA. The proposed strikeouts follow failure to comply with a court order to disclose neurological testing documents. Cook blamed solicitor Richard Boardman of Rylands Garth, not the players, and called the case "uncharted territory."
