Aston Martin freeze development through first half of 2026, load all upgrades into Hungary

Aston Martin, last in the constructors' standings with one point from ten rounds, froze all car development through the season's first half under chief technical officer Adrian Newey. The bet lands at Hungary: a new chassis, aero upgrades and weight reduction in one package. Most teams add 0.1–0.2s every few races; Aston Martin chose to catch up all at once.
