Worcestershire's Rob Jones to retire at end of 2026 season

Worcestershire batter Rob Jones has announced he will retire from professional cricket at the end of the 2026 season. Jones, 30, played 159 games across 11 seasons for Lancashire and Worcestershire. He won a One-Day Cup winner's medal with Worcestershire in 2025, averaging 47.20 in their trophy run. Head coach Alan Richardson said he "epitomised what it means to be a hard-working professional".
