Censys finds 800-plus Artex pentest tool deployments exposed without passwords
Censys has identified more than 800 distinct Artex deployments reachable from the web without a password. Artex, a Chinese-made open-source autonomous penetration-testing tool, was released publicly in July. Exposed instances also expose implants, malicious code used for persistent access to victim networks. The developer plans to go closed-source, limiting releases to paid customers, though dozens of code copies remain online.
