Roku founder Anthony Wood to step down as CEO as Fox closes $22 billion deal

Fox Corp. has closed its $22 billion acquisition of Roku. Deadline reported on 6 November 2026 that Roku founder Anthony Wood will step down as chief executive, with Mustafa Ozgen succeeding him. Variety reports that Wood will join the Fox board of directors. Wood and Paul Cheesebrough are co-chairs of Fox Digital Platforms, a newly formed group.
