K2 Winter Documentary Is Built From Licensed iPhone and GoPro Footage

The Last First: Winter K2 is built from licensed iPhone and GoPro footage, The Hollywood Reporter reported on 6 November 2026. Producers licensed clips from filmmaker Elia and Snorri Sigurjonsson's GoPro before director Amir Bar-Lev joined about three years after the events. The material was gathered after the fact, not filmed as the climb unfolded.
