Lehane Likens Data-Center Moratorium Backing to 2002 Iraq War Vote

OpenAI chief global affairs officer Chris Lehane wrote in a memo that backing a data-center moratorium, a pause on new AI-compute facilities, "could well be the 2028 version of the 2002 vote to go to war in Iraq." Politico reported on November 2 that OpenAI is pitching 2028 hopefuls on how to talk about AI.
