OpenAI Adds Animated GIF Creation to ChatGPT With Images 2.6

OpenAI is rolling out animated GIF creation in ChatGPT, generated from a text prompt or an uploaded photo. The feature arrives with its Images 2.6 model, which lets users adjust playback speed, edit individual frames and share finished GIFs. Images 2.6 is reaching all ChatGPT and Codex users on web, desktop and mobile. The rollout is not yet universal.
