Arkane union says Xbox is weighing closure and taking bids for Arkane Lyon, including from Ubisoft

The STJV union says Xbox is considering closing Arkane and taking bids for Arkane Lyon, including from Ubisoft. It wants a say in any sale and a larger redundancy payout, and calls Xbox's current offer "outrageously low." Microsoft is seeking a new buyer for Arkane Lyon and extended its consultation period by one month on 26 October 2026.
