OpenAI Rolls Out Animated GIF Creation in ChatGPT With Images 2.6

OpenAI is rolling out a ChatGPT feature that creates animated GIFs from a text prompt or an uploaded photo, alongside its new Images 2.6 model. Users can adjust playback speed, edit individual frames and share finished GIFs. Images 2.6 is rolling out to all ChatGPT and Codex users across web, desktop and mobile. The rollout is not yet universal.
