China extends reduced tariffs on Canadian lobster, crab, peas and canola meal to end of 2028

China has extended reduced tariffs on Canadian lobster, crab, peas and canola meal to the end of 2028, Trade Minister Maninder Sidhu said from Beijing. The rates were set to expire Dec. 31, 2026. The extension is tied to a Canadian commitment to extend refunds on some Chinese steel and aluminum products to the end of 2028.
