Guillaume Cerutti named next president of Versailles, starting 9 November

The French Ministry of Culture said in a press release dated 4 November 2026 that President Emmanuel Macron has nominated Guillaume Cerutti, former chief executive of Christie's auction house, to head the Château de Versailles, the palace near Paris. He will start on 9 November 2026, succeeding Christophe Leribault, who left in February to lead the Louvre museum.
