Democrats win back control of the US Senate in midterms

Democrats have won back control of the US Senate, the upper chamber of Congress, the Associated Press reported. They needed 51 seats for a majority. NBC News reported they won several states Donald Trump carried by ten points or more in 2024. US media projected Democrats to win the House of Representatives, the lower chamber.
