Firefighters' union threatens four 10-hour nationwide strikes from 27 November

The New Zealand Professional Firefighters Union has threatened four 10-hour nationwide strikes, starting 27 November. Members in 19 towns and cities would strike weekly from 1pm to 11pm. The union said 88 percent of members voted for them. The strikes are threatened, not under way. The union is in a pay dispute with Fire and Emergency New Zealand.
