R.M.N. town-hall long take, which looks like daytime, was shot at night

Cinematographer Tudor Vladimir Panduru told a Jakarta World Cinema masterclass on 1 November 2026 that the 20-minute town-hall take in Cristian Mungiu's "R.M.N.", which looks like daytime, was shot at night. Panduru said Mungiu's team sometimes shoots 20, 30 or 40 takes to reach the best result, Variety reported.
