Democrat Annie Andrews Wins South Carolina U.S. Senate Race
Democrat Annie Andrews, a pediatrician (doctor who treats children), won South Carolina's U.S. Senate race on November 3, defeating Republican Darline Graham, sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, who died in July. NBC News called the race. A New York Times/Siena poll the week before had the two tied at 48% each.
