Report card rates NSW and Tasmania red on feral deer control; South Australia alone earns green

An unpublished national report card rates New South Wales and Tasmania red in all four feral deer control categories. South Australia is the only jurisdiction to earn green in all four. Queensland and the ACT received three reds and a yellow. The ratings assess jurisdictions against the National Feral Deer Action Plan, which covers 2022 to 2027.
