Electrical tester injured at Google datacentre in Belgium; inspectorate finds no wrongdoing
Sandu, a 34-year-old electrical tester, suffered an arc-flash electrocution (a sudden electrical discharge) at a Google datacentre in Saint-Ghislain, Belgium, in March. The 400-volt, 12,000-amp current burned 12% of his body, and he was in an induced coma for five days. The local labour inspectorate closed its inquiry in late October and found no wrongdoing.
