Free Fire Returns to India With a Localized Build

Garena launched Free Fire India on October 28, 2026, a localized, standalone build of its battle royale (last-player-standing) shooter for Android and iOS. It is the franchise's return to India more than four years after the February 2022 ban. Free Fire MAX remains available. The build hosts user data in India and includes playtime limits and spending caps.
