Virgin Galactic guides next commercial flight to early Q2 2027, nearly three years after its last
Virgin Galactic's next commercial spaceflight is now guided for early Q2 2027, nearly three years after its last in June 2024, when VSS Unity was retired. The lead Delta-class ship, Apeiron, is expected to fly it. The company attributes the updated timeline to additional time needed for avionics (onboard flight electronics) software integration and validation.
