Dirk Kuyt named Fenerbahce interim coach after Kartal resigns

Dirk Kuyt has been appointed Fenerbahce's interim coach after Ismail Kartal resigned following a 2-1 defeat by Galatasaray on Monday. The 46-year-old, Kartal's assistant, will hold the post until a new head coach is appointed. His first game is a league match against Goztepe on Saturday. A week later, Fenerbahce host his former club Liverpool in the Champions League.
